UPCOMING: America's Innovate IT Collegiate Conference (AITCC) 2027
Discover how to protect technology through hands-on activities in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and robotics. Missouri State University’s GenCyber summer camp, supported by the National Security Agency, gives middle and high school students the chance to solve challenges and explore future careers in technology. The camp is planned for August 16–20, 2027, on campus. Programming experience is helpful but not required.
Cyber Cubs is a 5-day technology summer camp organized by our A-BITS members with support from the ITC Department faculty.
For 2026, we welcomed 17 students from 4th through 8th grade and taught the basics of information technology, cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, coding and robotics.
Throughout the week, our elementary students learned about internet safety, built computers with Legos and importance of passwords through games. Our middle school students were introduced to digital citizenship, digital forensics, AI and the basics of cybersecurity through Capture the Flag modules. To close out the day, all campers got to code and explore with robotic cars under the supervision of Dr. Zhiguo Yang.
